Talking Perhaps a rotating Assy GP?

Of course it's coming time for those of us lucky enough to get cash back from Uncle Sam to start thinking what we're going to do with our precious check... I know I for one am in dire need of a whole new rotating assembly!

I want to get everything matched from one spot (probably like a lot of people here) just to be sure I know it'll all work out exactly right.

(Full set of Bearings, Crank, Rods, Pistons... Perhaps also Oil Pump Parts, gaskets, seals, and Studs)

Anything any Vendors can handle?

[edit for vendors]

Looking for a low compression kit for a 4.010 bore or perhaps a 4.030 bore depending on what's available, and stock length crank.

I would really be interested in a 383/396 rotating assembly for my LT1. Forged with name brand parts like callies, je/srp, eagle rods etc. So far I am leaning towards the street plus 396 from nutek at 1835. But I am poor so a GP would really be the way to go. Any Vendors wanna help out??
Thanks,
Randy

i have about 700 i could spend for a non forged set, or about 1200 willingly for a forged set. i talked with SCAT and they wanted 1500 for a forged 383 kit for lt1 with h-beam rods. thats the best that i've found other than stuff like ebay.

I spend some time tomorrow and or Monday and work on some set ups and prices.

I am very interested in a fully forged 383. My engine is torn apart right now and at the machine shop getting bored and clearanced. I'm looking for a 3.75" stroke crank forged, 6.00" forged H-beam rods, forged JE/SRP pistons not sure on the compression ratio I need to talk to you on that, full piston ring set, and complete Clevitte 77 bearing set. I am ready to purchase now.

Thanks,
Jason

Thumbs up

Very interested. Would be looking for a 383 fully forged, low compression rotating assembly with rings, bearings and possibly splayed main caps. Looking for a good price on some high end stuff- Callies racemaster, Callies rods, and J&E pistons.
