New Jet Hot Colors!
It’s been a long time since Jet Hot has posted anything on this board. I come now with exciting news!
Jet Hot has come out with some NEW colors. Everyone is fimilure with the Jet Hot sterling silver finish. Many know that we carry a flat black, blue and grey color. We now offer a SEMI GLOSS BLACK, WHITE and COPPER colors.
Keep in mind, these are all high temperature metallic ceramic coatings not a powder coating. Like the Jet Hot sterling silver, they are made to help drop the header skin temperatures by 30% or better and protect the parts from corrosion. By keeping heat in the pipes, it will cause the hot gases to move faster and increase horse power.
We also have another NEW coating we call MC-15. This is a new silver metallic ceramic coating (very similar to the Jet Hot sterling silver but not as bright). This coating operates the same way as the other coatings but it can handle up to 1400F. At 1400F the coating doesn’t fail but will turn a duller finish. At 1700F it will fail (blister and flake off). This is a lot better than what is on the market today. The truth is that the sterling silver and all the other coatings on the market contain aluminum and will fail at or just past 1300F. If you are running a super charger, nitro, turbo, heavy duty racing or do a lot of tuning, this is a better coating option.
I have posted pictures of the new colors. I will have a picture of the white shortly. The white is very interesting because it is resistant to staining. If oil, grease, etc get on it, it can be cleaned off.
If anyone has questions, please feel free to call or Email me.
Thanks
Chris
