I know there is some problems with this group purchase, just wondering how everyone on this site is...

 

I just called my credit card company....basically to dispute over the phone it has to be done within 60 days. I now have to send them a copy of my reciept and a written letter explaining what happend in detailsince I payed on the 9th This really sucks. I cannot believe a company would be so low to just steal our money and dissapear. Any suggestions? Did anyone actually get their motor?

 

Whoa..... anyone wanna inform us on what happened? I was going to order a short block from these guys but now Im hesitant.

My credit card company, Discover, seems to be taking care of me so far.
I filed a dispute last night before the "stuff" hit the fan today.

The thing is that I even had a picture of a crank with my name on it so I'm not sure what exactly went down.
Some feel it was all planned but I think they just ran to tight and this shortblock debacle took them over the edge.
Looks like they have been having cash flow issues for sometime now.
I guess I should have figured something was up when they weren't listed as site sponsers anymore.

 

Go to fbody.com and check out the one guys post about how he got screwed by APE. I wouldnt suggest that anyone even remotely ponder having these guys build you an engine. If you really want to throw your money away, please send it to me!

I GOT SCREWED 2, I PURCHASED it when they had the group purchase, i called my credit card company today, their going to credit me for now, and send me paperwork, so i hope i don't get screwed, $2150 doesn't grow on trees.

 

Man I dont know about you folks, but if this had happened to me, and I did consider purchasing one of these , I would be on a plane right now to find these people and personally beat my $2k+ out of them until they were a bloody mess on the sidewalk. Taking people to court and all that bs takes too long and I dont have the patience for that crap. People like this ought to just be beat to death and call it a day. Set an example for the next jerkoff that thinks they can take advantage of people. We need to take a step back in time when you could tie this guy to a pole in the middle of town and have everyone come out and torture him b4 doing away with his sorry ***. Loser.
