what is the 2 pay plan?

You pay half upfront and they send out the headers and pay the rest later... Although Chris hasn't taken my other half yet

You are correct. You pay 1/2 by credit card and we ship the parts out to you. We then charge the card the following month on teh same date.

Thanks
Chris

PS: If you (ibanez6rg)wanted to email me your name and zip code about the 2nd payment not being done, I'll find out why.

hey, how much are the headers if you wouldn't get them from the group purchase?

i need them for a 97 lt1 with emission hook ups. any exhaust shop should be able to custom fab a y-pipe to connect the headers to any cat back exhaust right?

If it was only as easy as driving down the the AZ plant. I appreciate your offer. I'm sorry to say, we haven't been able to move on to that project untill the LT1 Y pipe project is finished. Our pant to manufacture the headers is not located in AZ.

Thanks
Chris

We, I was finally able to get Jet Hot's price on the new Hooker Y pipe for the long tube headers. Hooker part number 16765 will work with the Jet Hot headers. We can only offer it as coated. The price of the Hooker Y pipe, fully coated in&out with the sterling silver finish ,is $209+$20s&h to the door. Of course ,it would get the lifetime corrosion warranty and 3 yr finish warranty.

I spoke with Hooker and they have a limited quanity so order quickly. We will be looking to stock some when Hooker stocks more. The normaly price for the Y pipe will run $268 with the s&h.

If there are any questions, please feel free to call or email me.

Thanks
Chris

Chris,
Would you recommend the Hooker Y-pipe or the Mufflex Y-pipe for the combination? Is there any way you could offer a package deal with the Mufflex (coated, of course)? How long before your y-pipe will be out? I will have some time after I get the headers and y-pipe until the time when it is installed. I might wait for the Jet-hot y-pipe to complete the setup. I have read both will work but I am unsure of which to go with.... anyone else have any experiences with either?

Thanks,
Stephen

I just spoke with Chris and ordered the Hooker Y-pipe. I believe he told me that the Hooker actually had a "dent" in the area of the driver's side header for better clearence of the tranny crossmember!

I did try a long time ago to run a GP with the Mufflex Y pipe. I didn't get enough orders and then found out that many people weren't happy with the Mufflex Y pipe. We ordered what Hooker had left in stock (8 Y pipes). I couldn't find out how long before they get more. We are still working on the Jet Hot Y pipe for the LT1, it should be ready this fall.

Thanks
Chris

I haven't been able to get a picture on the web yet. I spoke with hooker about the design. I was informed it has a 1 peice design and is 3" all the way though. The pipe bolts up the the headers and slides into the exhaust system and is secured by a band clamp. Hooker put a dent about 5" long on the top of the pipe to clear the trans mount on the driver's side. Once I get one in for coating(by 8/22 or 8/25), I can get a picture of a coated Y pipe and post it.

Thanks
Chris
