Re: http://www.thunderracing.com
I just dealt with TR this week. And I have to say their customer service is excellent. I order some plug wires online, sunday evening. Well monday they called that the wires I ordered were out of stock, but that if I called back they could suggest comparable products. I called them back on tuesday and after a knowledgeable discussion switch to competing brand. I checked the tracking and the wires will be delivered today. That is great response to notify me and then get out the alternate product quickly. This was my first experience with them, and I will definitely look at them in the future.

Half to chime in here too. Bought many a part with them and have never had an issue. Extremely fast shipping to Florida, usually next day. Customer service was pretty damn good too.

I guess I'll be the second person to admit they have poor customer service. I ordered a clutch Mar 7/06 and because I'm in Ontario they need to give me a shipping quote before completing the order. I got home Mar 8 and my brother gave me a message that Paul had called. I emailed back Mar 8 and said they could either email the quote/question or call me at work the number they already had on file as my alternate #. No reply what so ever. I emailed again Mar 13 to see if they had maybe missed my first reply. Still nothing. Mar 15 I phoned and left a message on Paul's voicemail and have yet to hear anything. Needless to say I have purchased the clutch elsewhere. I had ordered from TR before without any problems but this time sent me to their competitors.

No company is perfect every time. It is how they deal with and fix their problems that sets them apart.
Are you going to give details or is this thread going nowhere?

I have bought many things from them in the past and they are a good vendor, but I did have a problem with them once when purchasing some head bolts. They sent LS1 head bolts instead of LT1 head bolts, I called and informed them and they sent out a UPS label to ship them back. They refunded the charge of the LT1 bolts and charged me for the LS1 head bolts and said when they received them back they would credit my account. I shipped them back and never received a credit. I e-mailed and called Angie with no response and then I got a hold of Paul and he said that Angie would take care of it. I never received my refund. It was frustrating, and I had others things to worry about with building my motor so I just let it go because to me it wasn't worth my time to explain what happened over and over again to justify why they should do the right thing and refund my money. I've moved on, just giving my .02

Guys, I want to thank everyone for their kind words.
We try to stay on top of each and every order, but I have to admit, that from time to time things happen... It's just the nature of doing any type of business. My top priority is to make sure that when something does go wrong, that we can straighten things out as quickly as possible. Please feel free to email me directly if you should ever have a problem - my email is angie@thunderracing.com. I don't always have time to check the boards on a daily basis, so it's usually better if you just email or call.
Thanks again!
