Re: How about a McLeod GP?

Put me down for one LT1 stock balance aluminum flywheel street twin at that price or less. I'll stay on the list until I can't wait any longer.

I will be interested in one too if we can get the price low enough. I am going to need something to hold up to my 396, and i have heard lots of good things about the street twin.

Put me in for a twin disk setup, if I'm not to late.

Re: How about a McLeod GP?

Won't happen. Neither of the vendors (Combination Motorsports & T Byrne), who'd initially expressed interest, wanted to do a GP for the street twin when I called them. I've ordered an aluminum street twin from T Byrne for $1219 + S&H. I'm obviously out.

Re: How about a McLeod GP?

There is a site that has ST's with Steel or ALuminium flywheels plus free shipping for 1066.00 and some change, for the wholw kit.
This is without a GP, so thats everyday. Doubt you will ever find them cheaper.
I am ordering mine a a couple of weeks to replace my slipping Spec 3.

Re: How about a McLeod GP?

First off let me apologize for the lack of involvement on this one.
No excuse other than a madhouse here with the arrival of our new CNC machining equipment.
Which will be relevant to another sale I'm about to post up.
In any case, I got caught up and can do something on this if there are still willing participants.
I just need five people if you guys are good to go.
I tried to do a headcount on this thread but it's hard to get an accurate number.
I'm going to post the gp thread up right after Terry gets off the phone with Mcleod, checking lead time issues.
