With summer almost here for us Northern folks, things are just starting to roll. Any of our wonderful vendors feel like doing a purchase on a clutch setup? I would be down for a full setup from flywheel to disc, with everything in between, as long as it is anything but Centerforce.

demon, what would i need for a 1997z28 6spd.

 

most guys use a stage 3 clutch and steel flywheel, as it works best for street/strip setups. stage 4 and 5 is not to street friendly as they have a very aggressive engagement off the pedal.

but what do I know we have a stage 5 in our "street" beast

 

how much is a stage 3? what does that include?

From what I've heard the stage III & IV drive exactly the same on the street. One is a sprung hub the other is solid. Just a little FYI if anyone wanted to know I will be installing my stage IV this weekend.

 

Can I order just the stage 4 disk and use it with my LT4 pressure plate?

If so, how much just for the disk?

(The LT4 PP came with the RAM clutch that I bought before)

Does the slave need upgraded or will the factory one work with a stage III? Also the stock flywheel will work...won't it?
