so is this just a replacement basically, same as stock just better, or is it a differnt one all together, i dont know much about these cars yet...

It is definitely different than the stocker , it will strehgthen the rearend by putting pressure on the Main bearing caps , and allow you to drain and fill the rear end without pulling the cover , and supposedly give off heat through the ribs allowing a slightly cooler operating temperature inside .

Yes , it is a direct replacement for the stock cover .

Yes , it comes with new bolts and a new gasket as well . It really is a pretty nice piece .

You will have to take off the old cover , then bolt the new one up and set the preload on the bearing caps and fill up your rear end with gear oil . I don't know if you would need to have a shop do this or not , if you need furhter assistance , you can call between 10am and 5pm mon.-fri.
