WTB an CD Head unit and Amp!
Anyone have a cd player for sale, or know where to get a good one cheap? I won't be able to get it until after Christmas, but I wanted to start looking. I'm not looking for top of the line, but I don't want anything really cheap either. I'll probably be looking to spend ~$200. Also, does anyone have an amp laying around for sale? I just got some speakers off Ebay for pretty cheap and I need some power to run them. I got a couple of 10" Boston Acoustics, but they ended up being put to better use in the stereo in my room since they run @ 8 ohms. I also picked up 2 12" MTX 2000's, they're about 5 years old but are in good shape, not pretty but functionally sound. I also have a box for them, so as soon as I can get an amp the Honda should be thumping pretty nicely
I can't really hook up the subs til I get a head unit since the stock head doesn't have any pre-amp out's.
Isn't there a place that sells Jensen amps for real cheap, since they make them right over there in Lake Mary? I remember hearing you could get some pretty good amps for dirt cheap, and Jensen is making alot better stuff then they used to.
Thanks for any help guys!

Jensen is out of business. Their parent company Recoton filed bankruptcy. Audiovox is said to be eventually continuing the name by purchasing the rights to it or something of that nature. But as of now they are gone. No new products and no support really. That Recoton outlet in Lake Mary had a closeout thing a couple months ago and liquidated everything. It was a great place to get cheap cables on clearance and little stuff. Stuff was like 50% off, but I would stay away from Jensen electronics in general.
There are a few other companies that make decent stuff that wont cost you a fortune. I would look on ebay and read some reviews. Check out some of the car audio message boards. Someone on here also may have something to add.

I bought some of my stereo stuff from www.hookedontronics.com
I feel like they have some real good prices. Example: you can get this for under $200 and it plays CD's and MP3's

Cool Josh, I'll have to come by and see it sometime. I'm gonna wait til after Christmas to buy anything on the slim chance my family might buy me one. I'm not counting on it, but you never know. We need to hang out sometime anyway, so I can just see it then.
