WTB: 1998 - 2002 v8 F-Body
sold my car, in need of a new one ... looking for a v8 f-body
requirements:
LS1
100% stock (or as close as it can be)
good paint
t-tops
monsoon stereo, unmolested
under 55k miles
i've been looking online but it appears dealers don't update their websites very often... i'd rather buy from a local individual anyways. anyone got one or know of one for sale?
looking to buy as soon as i find a good car within my price range, no more waiting for my car to sell.

actually i might have found a 1999 red camaro SS with 42.5k miles ... if its still at the dealer on tuesday then it'll be mine
post up a price and we'll see if its reasonable... my price range largely depends upon the car... for instance, for this camaro SS i'm going to be spending about 1500 more than i was willing to spend 24 hours ago

nevermind about that SS i was looking at... did up all my finances and discovered i'd have to take out a larger loan than i was expecting to, and its not a smart thing to do at this time
mcnamara wants way way way way too much money for all of their LS1's, they were asking 28 grand for 2001's with 25k miles on them and didn't want to seem to negotiate much.

Check out Black's Automotive, they have three SS's. They have a '99, a '00, and a '02. I believe their number is 407 830 8801.

yep i was going to get the red one but it'd require me to take out a loan that is bigger than i can afford right now...
they moved a bit on the price but its still about $1000 more than i can afford
Well, I'm assuming you've been looking on autotrader, but what about this car:
01 Z w/22k miles for $14,000-black, 6 speed, t-tops
01 Z w/22k miles for $14,000-black, 6 speed, t-tops
Looks like a deal to me...go check it out. There's gotta be something wrong w/it, but who know. The mileage looks good. You might even the factory 3/36 warranty left on it. Its worth checking out.

i'm going to gainsville tuesday hopefully i'll drive back in a z28
we'll see... last car i drove 2.5 hours to see had nitrous mounts all over it
car in gainsville was totaled in a previous life, ghetto rigged back togehter with bondo, zip ties, and welds replacing bolts, and put on the honda lot.

Sorry to hear that man, I was lucky enough to have found the car I got. It was lightly tapped I believe, but no structural damage. It's never had anything reported to car fax, but I can tell the rear bumper cover was repainted. Keep trying, something is bound to pop up.
