Anyone near Orlando running an LS6 cam in an LS1? I just got a 2001 SS and I've heard the LS6 cams are very streetable with good power and require no tuning. I'd like to make sure my idea of "streetable" is in line with everyone else before I install one. Any help ??

As far as drivability and idle are concerned, you'll never know it's in there. With no other mods, and stock manifolds, you'll probably see 5-10 RWHP There are plenty of other cams that will make more power than that one and still be drivable. It is cheap though. Combine the 02 LS6 cam with some GTP 5.3 stage 2 heads, and you'ld have a substantial power increase with a stock idle. It will require the rev limiter to be raised though.
