Another "Stand up" post for Mike.

Mike has posted several times on Badrap that he has been unable to post here for an unknown reason. I see he has that worked out, and is working on the rest.

Good luck Mike, If I can help just let me know.

Mike; Here is some more info that I kinda figured out. You have said that someone broke into your ebay account and sold the same merchandise. Well then how comes there is no record on ebay of you selling that stuff before. Also you said that you already sold one of the two throttle bodies that you had, and you were keeping the second one. Then how comes in the auction description it says that "Switching to mono-blade setup so this must go", and the picture of the throttle body is on your car. Also, I have had two people email telling me that they had problems with trying to buy from you before. And your communication has not been the best for not being in a very good postion. So finding it very hard to believe that someone hacked all your ebay info, and paypal info, and sold things that you say were sold before but have no record of, I either need the money in my hands within the end of the week, or I am conntacting the internet fraud protection agency. And I will be contacting the local Tampa police. And I will continue to file claims through ebay. Let me know whats up.Randy

Unhappy

Mike, I don't know if this is related to your case, but.
About 3-4 weeks ago I received three E-mails from E-bay telling me I needed to update my account or "I would lose the ability to bid or sell". Having heard of fraud attempts like this I deleted all of them over a four day period. Last weekend I went to E-bay and guess what? I could still bid and I never got another notice about updating my information?????

Looks like this was an attempted theft of my information as well? And it was asking for my Paypal information as well...

I hope this is not what happened to you.

I was gonna post this, but never did earlier.

A few days ago MSN did a report on a guy who Claims to scam peopel on ebay. Though I never tied it to this cus nobody ever mentioned the similarities, nor did I think was the case here.

This guy would send mass emails to members saying that the account would closed if the info was not emailed back. Sounds Familiar to what the last 2 post are.

I never tied it to the story behind this thread, but to thsoe who posted about that "email", Beware. The person who came forward remained un-named, only gave a nick name. But he did it becasue MSN had done a half *** story on how scams work, so he emailed the reporter to explain things.

Randy I had two ebay accounts, and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I tried calling your number, it just rings and rings. ???? I would be more than happy to send you my ASM TB as my engine has spun a bearing and will be down for a while. PM me with your address and I can ship ASAP. Only thing is the TB needs a new Linkage assembly. The ASM units have an ABS piece instead of metal. I broke off the cruise control linkage boss. It still works fine just no cruise, I do have the piece that came off I will send that too or I can order you one from ASM and have it shipped to you. Let me know
