Where to get tire patched?
Like the subject says
I called Discount tire and apparently they dont patch tires for free anymore. Does anyone else do it for free?

if it's a straight hole, you can get the plug tool & a few plugs from a parts store for ~$7 and do it yourself.
for most patches, you take the tire off the rim, put patch on inside, and then remount & rebalance.

The Discounts around here still do. The one off 436 & 50, I just got the tire patched on my 4Runner not too long ago.

gimme an e-mail off list if you want and I can explain it, i had good luck with them. i was broke as a project window a few years ago, and got a DEAL on some Enkei WINS with bald tires, and i could not get $cratch for tires for ****. finally had to trade them for 16's with rubber on them.
f*n family just HAD TO EAT.

Thanks for the offer but I know how to do it. I've plugged a few tires before on my old car
Worse comes to worse I'll drive up to my Dad's shop and have him patch it for me. I was just hoping to avoid the hour long drive to get there.
