I wantto see a third gen with a LS1 in it... I have seen a few with LT-1's in them, but an LS1, I have yet to see. Might be something I have to do.

Saw one at G7 last year!!! White Camaro convertable that was immaculate. There are pictures of it on our website. They sell a kit to do it realativly easy. It was badass looking.

 

speaking of swapping ls1's into stuff.........here is my dream setup.

ls1 motor and t56 tranny swapped into a late model rx7 body.
total car weight 2800!!!!!!!! with perfect 50/50 weight balance.
stock ls1 motor only... mod is a mild cam and custom exhaust (still stock manifolds)
11.4 @ 120mph

put some ported heads, and headers on it and you have a low 10 second, reliable daily driver on pump gas with no expensive mods and a much nicer/more comfortable interior.

plus you could trick all the domestic guys into racing you for money.

 

I tried to convince Tyler to do it to his B4C a loooooong time ago, but he wanted a 4th gen so bad it was no use. I am not really into the 3rd gens, but a nice clean 3rd gen with a LS1/6 speed would be awesome!

But what I would really want is a 70 1/2 RS/SS Split Bumper Camaro with a Twin Turbo LT1/6 Speed One day I will build it!!!!!
