Second time to the track ever, and second time with my new car. Last best was 13.08@111.7 with a 2.26 60 foot

Tonight we let more pressure out of the tires and it made a big difference-still waiting on my line lock kit so I can heat up the tires, but best tonight was:

12.705 @ 109.79 with a 1.94 60 foot. All runs tonight (6 in total) were about the same-first was a 12.8 but the rest were around 12.7. I know with a stall and drag radials I should be able to pull a better 60 foot-it will just take some practice.

Regardless, I was happy that I got in to the 12's for the first time.

 

Congrats on the 12's...I'm sure that car has got plenty more in it. The air is pretty crappy tonight, those times will definitely come down plenty.

 

What tires have you been racing on? Regular radials?

 

Congrats on the new times as well. With more practice and the power your car makes, I can see you doing low 12s.

I went to BMP on Saturday and improved by only .016, lol, so I need more practice too, and a cold night.

 

Thanks for the congratulations. As far as tires I have Goodyear Eagle F-1 275/40/17" Tires Up Front and Nitto 315/35/17" 555 Drag Radials In Back. I dont change my tires or anything just for the track-I drive those on the street too. I may try and get a pair of slicks in the future.

 

You are running aftermarket heads cam and headers right?

and you said you have a 3500 stall or getting one? Just wondering?

Trying to base your times on your mods.

Yeah, if you go here you will find all the info. But to answer your question it has heads/cam pacesetter headers and a 3800 stall-and some other things.
