Went to DriveTech-race Nascar style cars
Just wanted to let some people know in case they are interested in this type of thing. I went to a racing school recently in Lakeland (DriveTech ) – it’s a high banked oval where you can drive NASCAR type cars. What was pretty cool about it is you don’t have to follow an instructor (most things like this you do) and you can go as fast as you’re capable (sort of small track, probably tops of a little over 110 mph). They have spotters talking to you and an in-car video to record your drive. They provide you with everything you need, you just show up and drive.
One of the managers there is a Camaro enthusiast and he said he could provide a discount on any of their race sessions if you contact him and mention www.cz28.com. You can reach him at 800-699-8756 or david@drivetech.com.
Not sure how much the discount is, I paid $395 for 24 laps.

One of my friend's fathers did that for his 50th birthday about 5-6 years ago and said it was well worth the money.
I haven't seen you on here in a while, how's the car runnin', real strong?

Yeah, I haven't been on in a while-been pretty busy. Car is running great-I haven't been to the track since I talked to you about it on here I think (12.70 @110). Thinking about getting a cheap daily driver though so I dont have to put as many miles on it.
