My friend's car is totalled. I need to know what parts we (him and I) could transfer over to my car. He has a 97 Z, I have a 96 bird. I know the rear, engine and tranny, but any other parts???

both cars are almost the same, and exactly the same chassis wise... so other than the motor and tranny, and things directly related to such, it'll all fit on the v6.

driveshaft, rear end, shocks/springs (but 80k miles, i'd pass), the catback,

PCM won't however, they're different.

 

I think as far as the PCM, it was more for sending it away to be reprogrammed, maybe... That's what I thought as far as the parts go..

 

I donb't think you can reporgram the PCM to work on a v6, if you can might cost extra I think you woudl be better off buing a v6 PCM.

but like I said in the v6 section post, everything is interchangable, except, the dash stuff, and the foil. The cars are identical except for engine, tranny, and pcm.
