Has anyone bought shopped for tires in the Ft. Myers/Naples area? I'm just "spinning my wheels" (no punn intended) here because the dealers are not even in the ballpark of the tirerack prices. Anyone know any reasonable dealers over here or should I just get some tires off The Rack? Thanks.

just get them off tirerack....

i researched it, on 4 goodyear gForce kdw's i would have saved $245 on all 4...

why would you even consider going to a shop..

I spent $448 to my door on a new set of 245/50/16 Nitto Extreme Performance 450s. I believe they were $92 a piece + shipping. I also got the extended warranty on them for an extra $9 a tire, I am glad that I did because about 3wks ago I got a flat tire and they sent me a new one with no questions asked. I didnt even have to send my junk one in. I don't know if you were looking for Goodyears only, but I am very pleased with my Nittos.

I'm going ahead with a Tire Rack purchase of the SZ50's at 151.00 per. I didn't see anything about a tire road hazzard warranty or anything like that though. I was just thinking that buying from a local shop would make it easier to deal with any problems, but at their prices it's just not worth it. Thanks again for the input.

 

enjoy the new SZ50's...that's what i ended up buying cause the gforce were backordered. you will freak when you try to do your first powershift ... almost no spin at all!!

and i ended up getting all 4 SZ50's for $100 cheaper than the shop wanted to charge for the gforce...and they are $30 more for each tire!!
