Tire Leak

No nail in tire, but after 2 days it is almost empty. I have been told to have the valve stem checked out... Any feedback? It is nail free...

If its the valve stem and it leaks down that fast, you'd be able to hear it if you move it arround.

It could also be a puncture but the nail fell out. Just take it to a tire shop and have them fix it.

Take it to the Bridgestone/Firestone store on 50 & Rouse.

My roomate is the tire manager there. Ask for Abe and tell him that Dan sent you. He'll take care of you price wise and make sure everything is safe and good to go w/the tire.

IF you have a tub big enough...

fill it up with soapy water and spin the wheel in it, it will bubble up where the air is after you fill it up...

Just get a $.99 spray bottle and keep soapy water in it. Spray the whole tire and rim, and where the bubbles form is your leak!

Used windex and could not find a leak, but I did find five tacks in the wheel. Took it to Good Year and only one went through. They patched it from the inside and rebalanced it and replaced the valve stem under warranty, so I was happy... They said anytime they take the tire off they replace the valve stem even if it is fine. Works for me.... They were tiny tacks more like roofing staples, but I had to take the tire off to even see them...
