Hi Everyone. I'm in Kissimmee right now. I NEED to find an apt. to move into by Sat. (3 days). I am living at my father in-laws, and it's miserable, and I've got all my stuff in the moving truck which is due back at 10AM on Monday. I don't fully know whether to live in the Orlando or Tampa area, so please post quick, and tell me which you would choose and why? My research has shown that the job markets/apt. prices seem to be the same. I like the idea of the beaches near tampa a little better, but I like Orlando for the theme parks. So please help quick. I wanna go apt. hunting tomorrow. (Thur.) THanks.

 

i dunno ..i used to live in orlando, and the theme parks get old QUICK... its real busy over tyhere. tampa is nice...i live across the bay in largo. theres good and bad points to all... but there is a happening night life in tampa st pete.

traffic SUCKS

beach is like an hour away... not too bad
speedworld is 15 minuites away, thats a plus

 

If you're in Kissimmee right now it'll be easier for you to find a place in Orlando. In a nutshell, Orlando is better than Tampa, I've lived in both places and I like it here a little better.

And they are right theme [arks get old fast, and herein Tampa there is Bush Gardens, which is cheaper than the ones in Orlando and has more bitchin' coasters anyway.

 

PErsonally I like orlando better, little bit of a college town, decent party scene, cool car scene. I have been ot tampa a little its cool but not the greatest.

 

I feel the same way about Orlando lol. I like it better here in teh Bay area
