Rmc ?

I purchased a car that originally came from RMC. What I wanted to know is why he would not put an oil dipstick and tub back in the motor when swapped and then proceed to block it off? (This is not a race motor by any means)If there is a reason and anyone knows please post back. I’m not complaining at all because of the good deal I got but I would like to know the reason just out of curiosity.

Well since the car has a K-member I don't think that they would be concerned about the little bit of weight that the dip stick and tube weigh.... lol

Does the car have headers? It might of been easier to just leave the dipstick off if that is the case.

Well, he looked under the car... the dip stick tube is broken off. There is about a 2-3 inch long stub hanging out of the pan rail. It appears to be an easy fix.
