pullies???

i went to a mustang board to see some of the things they have to say. well one thing i noticed is that every mustang that had any mods, atleast had pullies. is there a reason for this? somthing in particular that does so much for them and not for us? do pullies do anything for us? ( well noticeable difference?)

to be honest, i think it's because they are so underpowered, they try to make every extra pony they can.

i had UD pullies on a S-10 Xtreme once, maybe gave me 1hp, but with a CAI, cat back, and the UDP's, my mileage was pretty good.

i just don't think many guys want to worry with low amperage charging, slowing cooling due to slower water pumps, and the headache of changing them out for a few horsepower.

IMO, you look gay sitting at stop lite when your bass bumps and your lites go dim. just some DAK driving crap, or can't afford caps.

when a MAF of LID can give you ~10RWHP, why screw with pullies for max ~2hp, does my tirade make sense?

its been unnanimously agreed that pullies on an lt1/ls1 are a waste of money and time. they dont gain any power and they cause youre system to undercharge.
