I'm looking into buying a car that has been considered totaled by an insurance co. The car was hit on the front and messed up the hood one headlight (Trans Am) and the front cover. How hard is it to get the title rebuilt once it has been considered totaled? I've been told that it isn't worth doing, but I'm getting a great deal on a 95 TA. Any suggestions or does anyone know anything about this?

 

Tag the car out of state, then bring it back into the state and retag it, clean title. Something like that, don't remember exactly.
