Yeah the buckling will most likely seal the deal.

Totalled because of a dented rear quarter? Not necessarily. You can hang a new quarter. The roof looks good, how's the subframe? I wouldn't call it cashed yet....

Just got a call from the adjuster. The car is a total loss.

Time for an LS1.

sorry and glad for yeah at the same time I know you had thoughts on replacing the motor luckily you hadn't done it yet.

As for looking for an ls1... I know you are not a fan but keep an just look into stangs for a bit...

Nevrmind looks like the good '03s are gone... I was gonna reccomend looking at new '03s, since they offer $4,000 rebates on new '03s... searched 2-3 dealers local, and they only have auto Gts left no more 5-speeds. ANd the auto GT I drove felt slower then my 3.4L, but the 5-speed got up and moved!

Not sure stangs are as good of a deal... but on 04s, $2500 rebates, and there is a $400 rebate if you are a student...

other then that happy ls1 hunting.

an LS1 will most likely cost 2 - 3 times as much as your insurance will give you for your car...

however, i just happen to be selling a 95 z28

why 2-3 times?

they almost going at the same price... I have seen ls1s over $20k so they are worth like the same.

Don't worry guys I still think the f-body is a far superior car... I was just, and now with the '03s gone the '04 gts, are a little pricier so nothing too amazing.

i'd expect he'll get 5000 from his car... maybe 6000 from the mod reciepts and such.

the decent 50 - 60k mile 1998's and 1999's are going for about 10k - 13k it seems like
