Okay here's the scoop so far guys. Forgive me for not knowing all the details of 3.8Ls, hopefully you can help me out. My contact in Australia said that if he recalls right the injectors on the cars over there actually have their bungs mounted into the heads so that they could clear the supercharger. I don't know, but assume here they are still in the actual intake. He's going to take a look @ one and get some pictures. It would also be helpful if one of you could volunteer to take some detailed pics of your motor for comparison. If the injector locations are different then I believe you'd have to change heads as well as the rest of the setup. WE also still don't know how the serpentine runs. The good side to the heads is that the 3.8L over there is rated @ something like 230hp so possibly the heads are better flowing. That wouldn't do much for cost though.
Anyone want to send me some 3.8L pics?

The fuel injectors on my 3.8(96). are mounted on the intake manifold. I will try and get some pictures this weekend.

Thats how the GTP is... the injectors are in the heads, but in N/A 3.8Ls they are in an intake manifold... but hte heads are direct bolt up at least for the GTP to 3.8L...

Also to help you out, f-body v6 is L36, GTP supercharged is L67

The main problem we have of not being able to do a GTP block in an f-body everythign is the same is the fact that the supercharger is made to not have to worry abotu clearance issues, since it is horizontally mounted in FWD cars... The TB is on the opposite side of the SC pulley.

as for the pulley system you coudl just put a crank pulley off a GTP and I believe that works the same. For the most part these motors are identical, people have put GTP internals in to L36s and run boost on them through a custom supercharger, and actually locally shane is putting a L67 short block with L36 heads on his turbo v6 so he can run more then 7 psi of boost
