Paging Chuck... MSCC related
I was reading Pit Patter this weekend, and I rember it saying something about adding a class for street tires only.
I cannot remeber if it was in Prepared or MOD, If its prepared, may cahnge my whole perspective on mods(Ecsta 711s, are only $55 a tire, compared to V700 victo racer for $135) And I woudl probable be doing better, if I think about it only guys that reallly slaughter me have race tires, (Silver Impreza with black hood, and that insane Maroone Maxima) Which in reality would be fair, race tires is a major mod, and really not something you would run on the street.
Also I might be able to make it to meetings this semester, and gasp... finally become a member, and save some money.
Problem is I cannot seem to find my "Pit Patter"
Jsut wondered if you knew anything else about this or if you have the Pit Patter laying around its, the one talking about the jan 11th. event.

A new division was added to the street mod class only. A lot of cars, imports mostly, have mods that would put them into a "race" category even though they are street driven and the owners don't have rcae tires. They can't run with cars their own type and the street tires are a major disadvantage. So we started a street mod II class for street mod cars without race rubber. That was the only rule change that would possibly effect you. Buy I wouldn't suggest jumping to SMII. It won't help.
