Re: OSW wed 12/15

Might do that actually...If my buddy doesn't borrow my dad's ET streets, then I might. Its not the LT's that are causing the launching problem. 3 weeks ago, I cut a 1.9 60' on street tires, and 2.0's the rest of the night...the problem was, it was humid as all hell, and the tires wouldn't hold under WOT and shifting.

I know the track was bad when my dad couldn't get any traction on his ET Streets that night in a lid only car. He was getting sideways off the line everytime...and he got 'em pretty hot too.

But yeah, I'll probably be out Wed. night....

Didn't know that... OSW is hit or miss, I won't deny that. Too bad you weren't using ET streets the night you did 2.00's on radials.

I got there right at 6:30 so I'm not sure if they sprayed any VHT down before I got there, but I know for a fact they didn't spray any during the night at all. The extent of track prep that they did was using the blower once for about 25 seconds...

And yes, some suspension mods would DEFINITELY help me out.

I never saw them prep either, but I was back in the lanes, I usually get up front and they stop on my car.

First part of the night I dead hooked pretty well then later on through the night I had problems hooking. If I had gotten a good run in my mph was easily at where it was for my 14.4 runs

hehe

btw which lane do you guys think is better for prep on average, I know it "flucuates" from time to time but I usually favor the left lane. But in the past seemed like right lane was the better lane.
