And have you tried contacting Waterford Lakes yet? Didn't they have a problem with CFFB.net having a show there? have you contacted the mall yet? Yvonne Cook is the mall manager, I could get you the contact info if you need it, but she isn';t exactly known for her ability to get things taken care of...
I work at the building next door to Hooters and I can tell you that their parking lot is VERY small, you wouldn't fit many cars in there. As for Waterford Lakes, they stopped doing shows for us because the police had to control the crowds instead of the streets. The place is owned by Simon company, you'll have to discuss any type of show with them, I think there are a few mustang shows that gone on every now and then, so its quite possible for them to allow people from here to do one as well.
yeah they have Msutang shows but they are few and far between, they do put on events, like a battle of the bands, and some little festivals, eating things, and other crap from time to time, sometimes even block off the main road to the theatre....
The spot where the CFFB meets used to be is usually packed with cars on weekends now, since that sinkhole popped up in the middle of the parking lot(its been worked on for nearly 2 months now, and looks like no progress, not sure what the hell they are doing about it)
Maybe if it can be held over by Office Max, or maybe Crispers if done...
I do see VW, meet ups pretty often, not sure if they are sanctioned or not, and I know I get e-mails about Cavalier/sunfire meets in front of Best Buy(My girlfriend has a Cavalier I am on a board), once agian not sure if they are sanctioned or not.
Cops never had a problem with the carshow, even long after the show left there are still hooligan punks screwing around in cars. Cops pretty much have alot of control on it now, Also remember that was around Fast and Furious when this happened so hte huge Street racing thing nationwide happened.

And maybe 35% of the staff go to UCF or Valanecia
Another 50% in higschool, and 15% jsut out of school doing nothing.
We (CFFB) were ask not to come back so the story goes, we got too big! One of our last shows was 250 plus cars. Another problem was no Libility insurance for the event.
Management started complaining about trash so we picked it up then complained about having to put up baracades and remove them and then complained about picking up the trash cans. Then they did not want to pay for the Disc Jockey and it goes on and on.
I tried to get back in, but have not been sucessful.
