Orlando Folks...Going to Gainesville Track

I'm heading up to Gainesville saturday morning to go to the track up there. A few people have already shown some interest in joining me up there. The track opens at 10:00 am and test 'n tune goes from 10:30 till 4 pm. If anybody from Central Florida wants to go and wants to caravan up there with me saturday morning, let me know. It should fun running at a real track other than OSW. Anyways, let me know if you're interested.

good luck on some even better times at a decent track. last time i drove to that track was for the gatornationals last year and it was amazing. id feel alot safer at a track where cars run sub 5 sec 1/4 miles at 330+ mph. rather than osw that doesnt really have tech to pass through.

have fun

ill definatly go when my car is back together but i dont know if the beater will make it.

I don't think I can make it. I have to work saturday night at 6 and it would be quite a rush to get back. Plus if my 141k+ engine or rearend takes a dump there, towing charges would be horrendous.

I'd go, if not for my new little guy at home.

Maybe OSW is what's wrong with my 2-3 shift. Yeah, that's it- it's the track!

Have fun. Don't break.

And, when did you jump from 12.9 to 12.69?

Turns out I'm not gonna be going afterall. I have too much to do tomorrow in preperation for the party I'm having at my place. Don't want to risk not having everything prepared for tomorrow night.

Oh yeah...I'm having a party tomorrow night. If you wanna go, let me know and I'll PM ya directions.

Oh, and I jumped from a 12.86 to a 12.67 last friday out at the track. Still not really sure how that happened. I guess I finally decided to quit launching my car like a sissy and I cut a 1.89 60'.

Maybe another time we'll organize a cruise up to Gville.
