Maybe I should just get some wheels other than my ZR1's to go to the track on. One day I'll do that, and get around to taking some weight out of this pig too.

I've got one MT you can have. It's got a few runs left and will fit a 16" wheel.

 

Yes and I sat for an hour and a half at one point between runs waiting for the temps to come down some.

Runs look good man. Congrats on the times and yes you do need some tires. Pull a good 60' and your into the 11's

 

The car has already gone 11.800 @ 117 on a 1.72 60'.

 

Damn old thread sorry. Nittos. I ran with Nittos at G-ville with a 150 shot, spun 1,2,3. Track officials asked me to stop tearing up their track! HA!!!

15" ET Streets should solve those problems now!

 

zr1s suck at the dragstrip... get some slicks skinnys, or i you are cheap, some pontiac 5-stars or Camaro snowflakes and some tires for them.

 

I have two sets of "Salad Shooters" and a pair of 16" T/A 5 stars here at the house.


But I really do want to get a set of slicks and skinnys one day.
