Next Level Performance SFC Install

So last week I finally received my SFC's, and got in touch with Mike to have them installed. I had ordered Hotchkis SFC's on sale at TByrnes, and while they did take a month to get, the savings was well worth it.

So after driving with them for about a week, I have noticed a few things.. One of them being, my dash now rattles... My dash did not rattle before, but it does now. However, squeaks from the rear hatch area, are in fact gone. I think the dash rattle is just the result of stiffening the car up, and it now transferring vibrations caused by my almost bald tires, that are likely out of balance now. I will know for sure probably this weekend, after I get new rubber...

Anyways, as for the install and work of Norris Motor Sports group...

First of all, Mike was a very accomodating and nice guy. Worked with me on my schedule, and even had one of his guys take a ride with me to identify a driveline thunk I am having, think it is TQ Arm Bushing... The SFC install itself is super clean. They prepped and finished the welded areas very nicely. The welds themself look tight, and they covered a good portion of the base plates. Without a doubt I would refer others to have work done there, not only for the great job they do, but the great attitude Mike has..

By the way, I really like the Hotchkis SFC's.. They tuck up super nice, and it is difficult to see them, even when getting on the ground and looking.. With the install work Mike's people did, you would think the car came from the factory with them...

Re: Next Level Performance SFC Install

I paid $150, but mine are easier than the SLP's.. Here is an email from Mike regarding prices...

The weld in SFC's like the tubular BMR pieces run $150 for the install and includes proper prep, MIG weld and finish paint. Some more "elaborate" style SFC's like KBDD's could be $200, but $150 is the normal price. Let me know.
It is a bit expensive as opposed to some alternatives, but I dont think many shops know the f-bods like they do there, and can do the same quality work...

Re: Next Level Performance SFC Install

I have recently had work done there as well. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
