New z28 Orlando Guy here

Hey guys, I would just like to say nice site you have here. I just got a 1996 z28 after almost losing my life in an accident on GoldenRod, and University a few monsth ago:

I had a nice 1995 Grand PRix Special Edition that was polished. had a 3.8l engine DOHC, 24 valves and it was super charged. I was the victim of other street racers when this happened, and I just want to say to you guys to keep it legal.

Anyways, I am drving a Z now, and I was wondering if there were any gatherings in O town. Just looking to make a few friends, and talk some american muscle.

Thanks,
Erik

MuscleCarsofOrlando meets at Hooters in Casselberry Saturday night at 6:00. I think CentralFloridaFBodies meets next Saturday. If you autocross, MartinSportsCarClub's July event is next Saturday morning in Tavares. We can always use more F Bodies and Mustangs out there. FuelSlut meets about all the time from what I hear. I'm a member of the MCO and MSCC clubs. Both are great to associate with. No craziness like burnouts and drag racing in the parking lot or anything like that. I don't go to the other two clubs' gatherings so I can't give much details for them. Two weekends a month doing nothing but car stuff already kills enough free time that I didn;t have to begin with.

WOW tyhat looked like a rough accident...

welcome to the boards... you are pretty close to the UCF area I see, well if oyu see a dirty blue 9-96 v6 Camaro, with z28 tips and 4-wheel disc brakes and a loud crappy exhasut note, thats me.

And Chuck pretty much covered the bases for car meets. I reccomend trying an Autocross its lots of fun jsut doesn't fit well with my work schedule, especialy since I do not get off work till like 4-5am on fridya nights.

thanks guys

Yeah, I thank god everyday for the second chance he gave me.

I look forward to meeting some of you maybe this weekend. I have a 1996 Z28. Its white with T-tops, and only has a Cold Air Intake added for now. I may be getting an SLP loudmouth soon.

BTW, I live off of Goldenrod, and University at the Sun Key Apartments. I noticed a couple of camaros here. Maybe one of you guys live here as well

See you on the road,
Erik

Wow! You live in Sun Key? I live practically right next door to you in WoodBridge. I hope you're enjoying the glory that is the F-Body.

heh heh, I think I may have seen you around. I also noticed a couple of ricers over your place, maybe when I get my SLP loudmouth, we can let them feel what a 2 5.7s feels like in their chest.

Sorry, I can't really stand fart can mufflers

Yeah there are a quite a few ricers around here. When I'm sittin at home at night I hear them buzzin around revvin the hell out of their motors and barely squealing the tires.

Yeah most of the time my car still has the dragstrip numbers on the window cuz i'm too lazy to wash it off. So if you see a silver Z with chrome 5 spokes with 4119 on the side thats me.
