It's a little south of Daytona on the east coast of Florida. It's a sleepy little town except on Saturday's & Sunday's when everyone heads to the beach. It's one of those places you can still drive on the beach.

I believe it's spelled New Smyrna Beach

 

New Smyrna Beach. Nice town. Beachside is awsome. There is a cool wooden trail the north end of the inlet. I fly out of the New Smyrna airport often, and the view is incredible. A clear day you can see all of Daytona, Orlando, and the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA. There are bad parts to town, like any town, but for the most part it is nice. Nice car show on Canal St the second saturday of the month (I think it's the second...)

 

Gorgeous little town if you're near the beach. And Bike Week is right up the road. Woot!

 

New Smyrna Beach is a small beach town with good fishing, surfing, restaurants, natural wildlife, and is nice if you don't like large crowds.

 

And nobody has even mentioned the New Smyna Speedway.

 

Oh yea. It's good old fun. Dirt and all!
