Of course you know I'll be there. I'm gonna rent one of Nick's Karts this month since December doesn't count toward any points standings. Maybe I'll be fastest time of day. You never know.

did you say you that we were gong to run the course you made while back when it was pouring rain?

if so didn't you have a pic of it so maybe I can start studying it

I need to figure what the hell I am going to do on that first turn that is tighter then 90 degrees. Last tiem we ran it I was only 3-4 seconds behind the WRX, and hopefully that Maroone 14 second Maxima isn't out there, and maybe I can place in G-prepared, I haven't been getting too worred about the GTI VR6, I seem to be beating him most hte time.

btw I am gong to keep my rear 21mm sway for this event, I don't think I have enough time to get used to the change, I may be better off leaving the 21mm.

Here it is. You still have a month and a half to study it.

The only only change from this was removal of 1 or 2 cones from the slalom at the left of the skd pad. That and the S curve on the right side was diplayed different. The other guys wanted to lay the cones out in a squared off pattern if you remember. The racing line was still the same though.

Just get there by 9:30 with $25 in hand.

You could come to watch. I did once. Last August. I didn't register cause I figured I'd just watch. But once I saw the festivities, I wanted to run too. TOO LATE. I had to wait till September. I've been doing it for 15 months now without missing a single MSCC event yet. I've even competed in an SCCA autox but I like the MSCC events better. We usually have more seat time due to longer courses and not as many cars.

Here's our website:

Hope to see you there Sunday 12/8. Stop by the Orange SS and say hi and I'll throw you a soda pop.

It takes me 4 hours for me to get to Miami from Orlando and 1.5 to get to Palm Bay. So I'd say around 2.5 hours or so. But the good news is that it's right off I-95. In fact you can see it from I-95 it's so close. Also most people drive 1.5 hours from Orlando to get there. We used to run in the Lockheed Martin parking lot in Orlando until last September. Tighter security meant we had to look elsewhere. BCC in Palm Bay lets us rent out a police training skid pad that's 300 X 600 feet. The pavement is real nice and smooth and not real hard on tires either. There is more info on our website as well as a map.

All are welcome.
16 and up to drive.
Helmets are mandatory but can be borrowed from us for free.
Be sure your battery is strapped down and your brakes are in good shape.

I am form Ft. lauderdale, but going to Chool in Orlando, I can also agree its about a 2.5 hour drive form Miami, depending how far north or south you live, from Broward I would even say little less then 2.5hours, if you cruise at ~85-90 mph, jsut watch palm bay I got busted along time ago by some bored cops.

Good for you. (Or bad) You've been doing this for a while now. Maybe experience will prevail and you'll get some comparable competition to beat.

I'm curious though. Why would somebody with a V6 (or even a V8 for that matter) go through so much trouble as to get custom built 3 piece wheels? I guess I don't get it.

I've never been a "fancy wheel" kind of guy.
