hell yeah, i have a black car, so its prone to spots. i bet the paint looks gorgeous after you clay bar it and wax it then. the thing im worried about is, do you have to do it quickly???? the auto dry feature sprays water and you set it and dry it???

you dont have to dry it. The spot free rinse feature causes no water spots. All you do is set it for spot free, spray it, and let it sit. I did mine out in the sun, where it is normally the worst to water spot, and no spots

The key to the unit is the rinse... it puts the water through a special filter. Using just the soap by itself will not prevent the car from spotting... you need to rinse it with the "unit" which has in it a GOOD filter. The filters last I think 10 washes then you must replace it or the water will start to bead again and then you'll get spots.

Maybe I got a bad one, but a friend of mine bought me one for Xmas and the filter rinse barely put out any H2O so I bagged it back to Walmart. I mean the car was drying faster than I could rinse (in the shade). Maybe I got a bad one. If you want one, Walmart is gonna be the cheapest.

so far the vast majority of people who say that autodry doesn't work are doing it wrong

^^ most likely.....unless they have a defective one or didn't install anything properly, but that falls under not doing it correctly.

All I have to say is this thing rocks. Its cuts the time I spend washing the car in like half. I can spray much faster than I can dry . Granted to have to scrub the car still, the fact that it sprays soap for you, and there are no spots is worth the 20 bucks IMO. Mr. Clean auto dry

I don't know, every time I have used it, the car has dried fine in the sun or shade after about 20 minutes.

i just bought it and used it, and it seems like when you wash off all the original water with the spot free stuff, it is still there.

and i don't know what to do with the water in my spoiler and on the hood.

it doesn't seem to be drying, i did it in the shade, cause i followed the directions. will the sun take take of this? i did my car over an hour and half ago, and its still wet..
