looking for a lt1 block
I still have the motor you sold me...If he only wants the block..tell him to make an offer. If he wants the bottom end, I'll take $375 for it obo. The heads have been completely refurbished if you know anyone that wants those.
A friend of mine has a 96' short block sitting at my house that needs to go. 52K original miles, no heads or intake. Last time we talked he said he'd take $250. I want it out of my garage!

The heads are decked for an extra 1/2 point of compression, and completely rebuilt w/ recut valves, seats, and new springs, seals, etc. I'll consider $175 for the block IF you buy the heads too.
To get my money back out of them I'd honestly have to sell them for over $355 due to the amount of work the seats needed, but I'll sell these for $275. That's not bad considering you'd pay $200 for a set straight off a car and unrebuilt. These are guaranteed to need no more machine word, to have good valve springs, and be oilseal leak free.
xchief, I hate stepping all over this post so please feel free to email or call me tomorrow. The springs are stock but I can get you some LT4 HOTCAM springs for very cheap and install them for you. I should also mention that I have a set of ported & polished LT1 heads w/ a port matched cerma-chromed intake manifold. They're still on a car but I can have them in less than a week: $1,050. The heads were originally $2200 + 275 for the intake work +$100 for the coating. They have LT4 hotcam springs and less than 8K miles on them
