Thats Funny. I was actually thinking of keeping this one a while.

Besides I would have to get closer to $21k to pay off the loan. Might consider it for close to that.

I paid 16,900 6 months or so ago and the car only had 11k on the clock. I borrowed the extra to pay off the inequety in my other car.

I intend to pay on this one til the loan is done or someone offers pay off. If I get it paid off I will keep it and buy another toy. I am thinking GTO by then. Several years off though.

Keep looking, you will find a good deal. I looked at tons of cars for more money that were hardtops and base cars. When I found this one I bought it on the spot.

Good luck in the hunt

I know a guy who was trying to sell a 2000 SS vert a while back. He still has it. This was about 6 minths ago. I think he was wanting 17 or 18 though but it was in really good shape, bone stock, not modded. Believe it or not the guy isn't that into cars. And he owns an SS vert. Go figure. It's silver with black leather btw. Should I put you together and see if he'll come down a bit?

Yeah! Sure! You could buy mine for $16,000...

... twice. Maybe not even then. Probably not. No way. I might trade it for a new Z06. But that's even a stretch. Trust me, you'll love the LS1 convertible. Fun, fast and dammnn fine to look at too.

my 2nd 4th gen was a vert, it was a 95Z, red w/ tan top, lowered, rims etc. Out of the four previous f-bodies i've owned I miss that one the most.
