Last days of the year for OSW....

This wednesday and friday are the last days for test and tune...

who is going?

I am hoping on a new best, maybe even some 14s on $0 worth of mods

Any little girls with a '00 red blown v6 wanna race? maybe even a someone in a 96 n/a 3.8L?

Either way if you guys see me out there, I am about 6'5" driving a stock '00 NBM 3.8L v6

I will be there tomorrow and likely friday I am still working a deal with the boss.

I'm gonna be there tonight....Gonna be running on ET streets tonight and praying that my rear holds. If it doesn't, I'm just gonna play the warranty card. I also have another trick up my sleeve for tonight, if it works, I'll reveal my secret. Hoping for a 12.6 tonight...but I'll settle for a 12.7

Ands it going to be a Chevy...

Not a riced out Camaro(firebird)
or a Glorified Grand Am....

by the way... while doing some research on my car I found some nice free/dirt cheap mods for your car, but nothing that will help out the firebird, only one of the mods even helped my car, our 3.8Ls are similar but different in alot of ways.

Tonight sucked *** for me...the best I could muster up was a 12.90 @ 109.2 Those ET streets are going to take some serious getting use to. Its completely different launching on those rather than launching on drag radials. My best 60' on those things tonight was a 1.98. I have pulled 1.95 on street tires....so I don't know whats up with that. I went 13.0 on my first run of the night and nearly **** my pants. The car feels like you are floating when you're up around the 100 mph on those tires. When I went to step on the brakes after the traps, I only had half my braking power cause my ABS sensor was going nuts. The ET streets are taller than my front street tires, therefore it causes a discrpancy in wheel speed between front and rear wheels. When I stepped on the brake pedal, it shoved it right back at me because the car was afraid the back tires would lock up I guess.....either way, when the car shoves the brake pedal back at you at 110 mph, on tires you don't feel comfortable on, it can be a little nerve racking. Just gonna need some getting use to on these tires and I'll have my 12.7 I'm sure.
