how many running with no CAT??

im debating if i should go with a true dual setup with my hooker LT's..... but i know that will eliminate any chance of at least having a fake cat on the car!! i was just wondering how many FL guys run without cats?? anyone ever get caught? i heard its like a $2500 fine!!!

I have no emissions on my IROC. Haven't taken off the emissions on my Z yet. I've never heard of anybody getting caught either.

hahahaha......

hey scott did you finally get everything taken care of with the mufflex y-pipe??? are you driving the car around? how do you like it? can you feel a difference in power?? i cant wait to get mine started with open headers!! the car is done but has been sitting on jacks since last week because LS1speed sent me the wrong stage 8 bolts!!! and plus i dont have my computer back yet.

i cant remember but what did we do with the #7 plug wire on your car!?! i cant figure out where to tuck it so it doesnt touch the header!! right now i have it ziptied above the headers! oh by the way, i used the 90deg. turn method with the passenger side wires!! works PERFECT! i wish i knew about that a LONG time ago! thanks again.

after seeing how much trouble you went through with the mufflex i think im just going to go true duals!! and plus its actually a lot cheaper!!! hopefully it will sound good!

yea i'm driving it around but very carefully since its hanging so low to the ground. i need to get the thing fixed, i think i'm gonig to do it this weekend or next week by a guy that mrr23 recommended in a different thread.

the #7 is the drivers rear plug right? i think that one went under everything, it went in some wierdo route that kept it far away from everything.

yea i can noticed quite a difference in power. i suspect when i get my exhaust fixed so ti doesn't bang around udner the car whenever i floor it than the computer will stop pulling timing and it'll be even faster

oh yea and that stupid ****ing SES light keeps comming back on now... came on twice today when it hasn't come on in like 2 weeks. i might end up getting the EGR programmed out... pisses me off though that the OBD-1 should ignore EGR but it still sets the SES

I ran a gutted CAT, then no CAT for about 4-5 months, I have a CATCO on now.

If you look you can get CATCO universal high flo Cats for like $40-60 a piece, they have different pipe sizes. If you want to be to run a high flow cats or even fake Cat gutted CAT.

I think you have to really **** of a cop to get that ticket, I have been pulled over 4-5 times when I was running no CAt, jsut a muffler on my y-pipe, was jsut abouyt as loud as my Cutout, I even got some warnings for my speeding violations, cops did not seem to care.
