I need some pointers. I am going on a cruise out of FT.Lauderdale in December. I am going to spend 4-5 days before the cruise down there.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper hotel around the port and near the beach/Nightspots in Ft.L ?

They won't be cheap, but hotels on Ft. Lauderdale beach are mere moments away from a dozen cool clubs and parties. If I lived in the area still, I'd better answer this.

there is a holiday inn right on the beach, i think it's at the end of Sunrise blvd.

there are two nice bars/rest right next door...one is the Blue Fish Cafe which has fantastic drinks called the Blue fish bomber...and there is also a nice late nite pizza shop next door. and you're close to a couple clubs and stuff like hooters...:-)

That is the address. Is that relativly close to the more popular area's in Ft.lauderdale? That is a best western.

 

yeah, thats an excellent location.....youre about halway between the downtown area, and the main beach/bar area
