hmm... did I get off because of nice cop or jurisdiction stuff?
hmm... did I get off because of nice cop or jurisdiction stuff?
Basically been a long day... had 4 hours sleep last night.
I was on my way home from my girlfriends, its a nice night, I had to baby the Camaro for th last week do to massive oil leak. So tonight I really opened up the car, was flying down Alafaya, then made a right on McCulloch, then cop was behind me pulled me over... I pulled into Northgate, my apartment complex, not far from where I saw his lights.
Told me to shut car down over loudspeaker, get out, walk to the front of his car...
I do, says he caught me around BP going 100 mph(very possible, I guess I was pretty high in 4th gear. He then yelled if I why I don't stop for police, I said I did, he said he had his lights on just as I turned onto McCulloch, asks to see my license and registration, ran it through, asks if I have been arrested before I say no, I tell him I am sorry, just been a long day I am tired, and was trying to get home to get some sleep, this is my apartment complex... sorry I did not see the lights, I was focusing on the road ahead of me...
He says, I really need to slow down I was looking at getting arrested and my car impounded for my reckless driving. And let me go!
I was happy but I am wondering was the guy nice to me? OR....
was it because, he is Orange County Sheriff, and saw me speeding in Orange county, followed me and eventually stopped me in Seminole county, (McCulloch, is the borderline, I pulled into Northgate which is Seminole County).
And it was going to get really technical into my pullover and Jurisdiction stuff? Either way I am happy the Seminole county Sheriff parked at northgate didn't notice me pulled over.
I love Orlando, I get tickets for crap I don't do and get warning for stuff I deserve a ticket for.

I got pulled over right behind your building, in the little parking lot for that first building in the front.
