Re: Help lawyer

in order to get her for drug trafficaing then she would probably have to have enough in the car to make it absolutely obvious it was there with intent to distribute.. At that point the evidence will be overwhelming aghainst her i am sure.. and depending on what drug it was will probably determine exactly how harsh the Prosecuters will be. that and past record.

Re: Help lawyer

Hmmm, I think I read this story the other day. Was she in the car that got busted w/cocaine, etc? I believe there were 3 other people in the car? I'm from Ormond, but I'm between there and Orlando a lot. I'll ask around for ya.

Re: Help lawyer

if this is her first offense she may be able to come out ok i was a LEO for a while and a CO.... i think if she can make the judge believe that she was dunmb and got caught up with the wrong people she may be given a second chance depending on her background.....the bad part is if you get the high paid lawyer the judge and the jury are going to be thinking that she is just trying to get off but if she basically is like iam ready to pay for what i have done but i have a lawyer to make sure my rights are not violated then most of the time the legal system is pretty easy going...........it is a gamble when getting a lawyer most people think that a lawyer is there to get you off the charges but he is not...he is there to make sure that your legal rights are not violated........crappy lawyers with unethical practices have made this the norm.......a defense lawyer is actually an officer of the court and is supposed to see that justice is served.......so again alot of times when you get a high paid lawyer and she is unmistakebly guilty it can sometimes backfire.......just make sure to get a lawyer with a background of doing his job and trying to negotiate rather than just trying to get her off the charges....judges and jury would rather help someone acused of a non-heinous crime than convict if they see that the person really want to do good

Re: Help lawyer

oh and if she pleads. Make sure on the court documents it is a NOLO CONTENDE...not a no contest.

It does make a difference....
