We're all going on the 3rd if you want to wait a week and go with a large group. Look for the other thread. Or just go both weekends in a row!

I hope they actually prep the track for you guys. They didn't spray it even once last night.

I won't be able to make it out Friday, but I'll try to on the 3rd.

Re: going to OSW(1-27)

That really doesn't surprise me with OSW. I wish that a different track was closer to me. (Deltona) Or that they would actually prep the track.

That's why I'm trying to get my buddy with the 9 sec Chevy II SS to go. he knows them, and if he can get his car running he will tell them that he is going, and they will prep the track, at least for his runs. Which would help us ALL out a bunch.

Here's to hoping.

The track was hooking "so-so" last night in the beginning, but deteriorated at the end. (Got sideways going into 2nd, which NEVER happens). No prep as usual. Good luck to those that go.

My buddies here in Gainesville call it Spinworld for a reason I suppose. Our prep up here is above average.

Look for a silver 05' GTO, and a red 00' SS. Two of my friends will be there, I'm staying home.

i think i saw the 2000 SS,he complimented me on my wheels, gunmetal 10 spoke SS wheels, well they were on the front at least,i broke the 13 second mark, with a 13.94 @ 102.21 and a 2.2 60 foot,i know it could be alot better and it should be but i'm still learning and still have alot to learn about launching a stick,i'm always afraid of breaking something

Re: going to OSW(1-27)

Was he about 6'1 and burly? If so that was my buddy Shane. He went 13.2x @ 114, then backed it up with a 12.97 @ 115.29!

His MPH rocks, but the car can't get out of the gate. It needs a better tire, but that would for sure break the 10 bolt that is already questionable.

Re: going to OSW(1-27)

Cool, sounds like a good time. My car is still down, so I didn't get to make it.

I see you're from Leesburg, do you know of a yellow 99'-04' mustang GT up that way w/ pillar guages and a supercharger? I was on 441 over near Gator's Dockside last summer and the guy was trying to play around with me in traffic. We got one little romp from a slow roll and I was able to put a few cars on him and hold my ground for a quick spurt.
