i have two amps that need fixed one mmats and one soundstream. mmats has 4 frets that need solder cleaned up and the soundtsream needs the positive and negative resoldered. very simple to fix but dont have the solder gun with fine tipo and dont trust myself to fix it. does anyone kno of anywhere in orlando area that fixes amps??????????????? please i drove around all day then called quite a few places and got no help what so ever.,

 

I have a co-worker who does some work on the side. I can ask him on Monday. He lives in Palm Bay though, an hour or so away from Orlando.

 

i've got an Orion 225 HCCA that just blows the fuse, if he can fix that, i'd ship it to him.

i don't trust to many folks here locally.

a buddy bought an amp (some flea market brand), and 4 of the resistors fell off the PCB, so we took it apart, just to see what was rattling.

took it back to shop, was under warranty, they ok'd they would fix it, then they called us and said it was ready, $56,

they said was not under warranty after the tech saw it, the tech said we had took the 4 resistors off.

uh, yeah, i do that alot, just for kicks, you know.....

 

I have a Kicker amp that just stays in "Protection" mode, I can't figure it out, do you think your friend might beable to do something about that?
