Gauging worth >>

I'm trying to figure out how much a clean 1992 Camaro RS with an LT-1 w/4L60E in it is worth? The LT-1 is basically stock except it is a 355 (.030 over) with forged 4130 rods, and rebuilt recently.

Thanks,
-Dave C. '97 Z28

PS: car has:

A/C
T-tops
power locks/windows
cassette
it was originally a V6 car.

Man, selling 3rd gens is a PITA. 3 years ago I sold my 85 IROC w/ a 3,000 mile $4,000 roller 355 w/ modified TPI for $3,000. That was after trying FOREVER to sell it for more. So basically somebody got a $4,000 motor, already professionally broken in, for $1,000 OFF and a FREE IROC...........I seriously considered parting it out

I sold a 1991 stock RS 305TBI auto without T-Tops in 2001 for $3900 with 125,000 miles. You have to be patient and wait. Honestly though, prices have plummeted. I be I would get $2500 today.

$5k. If that isn't worth it to you, keep it. Otherwise, just be patient......

Thanks guys...

I'm just trying to figure ot at what point it would have been better to just buy an IROC.

Actually, I'm doing pretty good. So far I have about $2200 into it and it's just about finished.

Thanks, Chris.

I still haven't re-shot the hood yet. Trying to finish this other Camaro first.

That car will be a great everyday driver, especially with something that is in my garage You know it's gained interest just sitting there... LOL I'm going to go different route so it's all you man.

The nice thing is it is no TPI bs, it's a LT1 that has *****.
