how is the "car gathering" scene in the area?

how is the track? and what nites and how much?

anything else going on that is worth while??

 

On Wednesdays its test and tune night in Gainesville at the strip. I think they also do something on Saturday nights also.

I live in Ocala, and theres not too much going on here. Unless you consider hanging out in a parking lot with 17 year olds..LOL

 

When I was going to school at UF the domestic crowd met Thursday nights in the Best Buy parking lot on Archer Rd. At that time there was probably 30+ regulars that showed up. That was almost 6 years ago though so the night and location may have changed.

The track is nice. They prep it well, and you can rip off some good runs. Though it can get busy. Wednesday and Friday nights were open to the public, and I think it was $15.

There's also the GatorNationals in the spring which is a good time.
