Fuc* UCF cops

This blows, I just got done meeting with my group for this project we were working on-and this one girl parked in a dirt lot pretty far away-and didn't want to walk that far in the dark. So, trying to be nice I drive her to her car-but I don't know where i'm going (when I'm at UCF I go the same way everytime and dont know where anything else is).

I was driving on the road where a frat house is I think Kappa Phi (something like that-I didn't look at it). Anyways, it's 10:30 and I was going 37 in a 25-then the girl doesn't tell me to turn, and it was dark as shi* and I didn't even see I was supposed to stop-so I end up in the middle of the road, and back up and go right-as soon as I did a cop was right there and put his lights on. He was a ****, and I knew i was getting a ticket so I didn't even try kissing his a** b/c it wasnt going to work. He gave me a ticket for 37 in a 25 ($120) and running a stop sign (he didn't put a price-isn't it $90). Oh well, I was due for another ticket

Edit: oh yeah, I know it was my fault, but just his entire attitude pissed me off-and another cop came and just sat there since they are fat pieces of shi* and have nothing better to do.

i was going to post earlier today that the UCF cops are nearing their quota deadline and they arn't quite there yet

today it was really bad for UCF cops i noticed, almost got nailed this morning in a 20mph zone cause i was tired and wasn't paying attention to my radar detector. i saw quite a few cops sitting around waiting for someone to roll through a stopsign, and they've been camped out around greek park and lake claire apartments more than normal recently.

Yeah, thats right where it was-I pulled over into Lake Claire apartments. I wasn't paying attention at all so I didn't even see the stop sign-I guess pulling an all nighter last night and not sleeping yet today didn't help me much.

I still love to mention this about the UCF PIGS. I once got stopped because I was stopped at a stop sign to long.. No one was behind me, I did not get a ticket, but I was harassed… I was stopped for under 2 minutes, I was looking for the cd I dropped… He did not buy it…. The sad thing was I even turned on the dome light so he could see movement.

Thumbs down

WTF is wrong with our cops? My friends at other schools in FL say their PD is very helpful, and leniant.

How the hell can you give someone a ticket for being stopped at a stop sign too long? Maybe for holding up the traffic flow, but come on...

They are always looking for crap too.. It really sucks. I have heard horror stories from a few friends too...

Not to mention parking services. They are total d!cks and think they are hot ****. I got a parking ticket even "with" my damn hangtag in the window. I was 100% legally parked. Too lazy to look at the front of my car. I contested it and still had to pay a $25 fine.

Oh well.. I guess we have to live with it.

That's Bullsh!t.

I've always wondered why our parking services and PD are such @ssholes compared to other schools.

Yeah tell me about it... I'm still pissed off about this one. This was in my old 92 Vette a couple months ago. You pay more to get the hangtag and then still get screwed.

They had to walk to the front of the car to put the ticket under the wiper, while the hangtag was there the whole time. Then I go to get it handled.. and got the F'off attitude from the stupid asses at the office. They said. "you can appeal it" So I did that and filled out the stupid form. Then I still had to end up paying it a month later after the so called "court" had their session and denied my appeal.

Now I have one car... getting decal next semester.

I've heard that other school have it much better than we do.

Later
Steve

UCF needs to do something to improve relations with their officers. Overall I think cops are under paid and over worked and hard working. UCF cops are like mall cops, a huge ego and attitude to follow. I hope they, UCF bacon reads this to see what a problem they have. Protect and Serve not ego and a$$hole

Down here at Ringling (Sarasota, FL) I used to take the 87 Formula all the time with no decal (truck is my DD). I mentioned it to security once, and he said cool. They don't care much here.

Now I live across the street in a house. No more driving

NO speeding
NO 3 point turns in Handicap spots(they give you the handicap parking ticket)
NO rolling throguh any stops
NO working on cars(well I still do just say sorry I have to finish, car can't move)

And yes you will get pulled over for going 37 in a 35.

Funniest thing I ever say was these middle school kids doing crap with skateboards then UCF Bycicle cops came out Pacific Blue style doing flips coming out of the trees, had like 8 of them to round up 3-4 kids on skateboards.

Also forgot to mention my car got busted into on campus

I only got a warning on campus but pulled over on the back road leaving off campus towards McCulloch around 11:30 during finals, his words were, you were going 37, its a 35 can you slow it down a little.

As for the break in happened like 2 years ago, on campus, when my rear end took a dump. Whats funny is the car was parked on in the engineering parking garage, for 6 hours and it got broken into, stayed there another 2 weeks(waiting for stuff in mail) no problem. They stole my hangtag, broke my ashtray stealing money and stole some CDs, they didn't jack my radio at least, that got jacked 2 weeks ago at waterford

On a lighter note at my new place with Road Runner and Kazaa, I have downloaded nearly 2 gigs of songs in the last 4 days.
