I just wanted to thanks Jason for taking time out of his day to stop by and look over that car for me. Jason saved me from buying a car sight unseen which had I purchased it I would have been dissapointed.

People like this is what makes owning unnecessary toys so much fun. Thanks for taking care of your fellow Fbody guys.....

What was wrong with it? I see a pretty big dent in the driver side rocker panel, obviously jumped a curb...

Just a few things.....

-Noisy Fuel Pump
-Headlights are 'yellowed'
-Dash is perfect, not cracked like most I see
-Rotors need to be replaced. They have slight grooves in them. Brakes didn't pulse when panic stopping from 65 mph
-Power windows are slow, but do work
-Power mirrors work
-Plastic trim missing on drivers seat belt male part
-Seat belt guide missing on drivers side
-Headliner has some cracks, and a split in it on the drivers side
-It has been repainted, with overspray on both door locks. Its slightly noticeable, hopefully the pictures show it.
-Paint is cracked on the drivers side of the rear bumper, where it meets the tail lights
-There is a slight gap between the hood and front bumper cover. Not sure if thats normal, but I noticed it.
-Play in drivers door hinge, but closes solidly
-Passenger door has had some body work done to it. I didn't open it though.... dumb me
-Passenger fender doesn't line up with door. Feels like it was put on a 4 point lift incorrectly. Prolly an easy fix. Looks like the drivers fender suffers the same fate, just not as bad.
-Noticed slight spark knock when flooring it from a roll. It was brief, and the car accellerated without any issues. Prolly not using 93 oct in it, or it needs a fuel filter, or some real gears.

After all that, he tells me the transmission was just rebuilt. Fluid was clean, but the dipstick had 'stains' on it. I relate it to moisture, but I haven't owned an auto car in over 8 yrs. He states in his auction that there was no major mechanical work done to it. I just called and asked him for a receipt and if it included a transferable warranty. We'll see if he returns my call.

Car did drive nice, but the roads I drove on weren't the best. The right front tire was low on air too, so it did wander a bit. Trans did seem to shift ok, but again, I haven't owned an auto in forever. Front end did feel ok, and I suspect the wandering was the low tire.

So did you end up going to get it or something? I'm confused because you refer to the problems from a first person experience...

Cool (I used to live in Lehigh, went to Edison CC)! I hope he's not buying that car, sounds like it's been in more that one wreck (hence the guy in all caps writing NO ACCIDENT HISTORY (history being the key word, aka "unreported")...
