FS: 95Z Heads/Cam $3000

Okay, this has been up before, here's the meat though: the car has sat for the better part of 2+yrs. In January I replaced the head gasket and had the heads remachined. It has sat the last 3 months and upon firing it up, it has some engine noise (possibly a rod knock).
This is what you get. AN EXTRA GOOD motor (not in car, 110k on it)
In car Vince stage 2 heads: originally cost $1600
Almost every bolton: z06 maf, K&N FPK, 1.6 gold roller rockers, LT4 HOTCAM, Pacesetter coated longtubes, custom 3" catback, Ken Wells Stage 2 tranny (built in 01, 26K miles on it), Vigilanted 9.5" 2800-3000stall.
Car has t-tops, bose, everything but leather and power seats. The paint is black and could use a redo, small tear near corner lens in front bumper. Chrome 5 spokes and 2 silver 5 spokes with good tires.
I don't have time to sort out the problems the car has and I've lost interest for the time being. The car went 11.87 @ 115.7 2 years ago on shorty headers and a 3.73 rear (now has 2.73 back in). The AC worked fine but is not charged, I have an extra compressor, but you'll need to replace the evaporator ($70-130). The top of the dash needs to be replaced. I will throw in all the spare parts (interior, 2 intake manifolds, stock muff-back, and a few boltons & the extra motor).

I DO NOT have time to part this car out. BEST OFFER, asking $3,000. This is a good deal, but I just want it out of my hair. It runs and sounds great....except for an apparent knock. IF you have the time you can swap the heads, cam, and timing chain (ALL less than 700 miles) onto the other motor I have and have a very fast LT1 car for cheap. Title is ready to go...take it off my hands please.

Oh, the car has just under 119K miles on it. Most of the guys on here can vouch for me being a well-known member from a few years back. I'm graduating Finance in December and don't have time for this car right now. The car should go low-mid 12s w/ the knock fixed and a little tuning.

Re: FS: 95Z Heads/Cam $3000

whistler, was good 2 years ago...had 500 mi on it since. I talked to Ken about rebuilding it a year ago and he said since it already had all the hard parts in it, if it needed a rebuild it would be around $700....I honestly think its good but don't know.....so, since I know you, I'd be willing to work out some sort of partial warranty deal...aka, if the tranny went out in X-amount of time, i'd be willing to reimburse you x-amount....I want whoever gets this to feel like they got a deal that needs a little work...not the shaft.

thats a pretty big discount. I'll keep it in mind, but I think I'd have to put it in autotrader before taking that offer.
