A friend of mine had John Salter (her husband) and said he's much easier than his wife.
I wouldn't put off taking a class just because you've heard the teacher was bad.
Try and get Thornburg if you can, he's not the typical accounting teacher. He's a big Conan the Barbarian fan, comes to class in those dragon and flames shirts, wears workboots, and has a ponytail.
